Approach

The process, stated in advance.

Most agencies describe their process after you have signed. Here it is before, with the durations, the deliverables, and what each phase needs from you.

Four phases run in a fixed order. Each ends with a review session, and nothing moves forward until you approve what came before. Seven weeks from kickoff to handoff, review time included.

01 5 working days

Audit

We document what your brand communicates today, where it contradicts itself, and which gaps are costing you consideration. Delivered as a written report.

02 10 working days

Strategy

Positioning, messaging, narrative, and architecture. The decisions everything visual has to obey afterwards.

03 15 working days

Design

Logo system, typography, and color, built against the strategy rather than against a mood board.

04 5 working days

Handoff

Guidelines, source files, templates, and a working session with the people who will use them.

35 working days. Seven weeks from kickoff to handoff. Four review sessions, one per phase.

01

5 working days

Audit

We establish what your brand actually communicates right now, rather than what you intend it to.

What happens

  • Review of every brand surface we can find: site, profiles, decks, packaging, signage, proposals, invoices.
  • Positioning analysis of three to five direct competitors in your category.
  • A working session with you on the business, the margin, and the customers you want more of.
  • Written diagnosis of where the surfaces contradict each other and which gaps cost you consideration.

You receive

A written audit document, delivered to you and yours to keep.

We need from you

Access to existing material, the names of competitors you lose deals to, and ninety minutes of your time.

02

10 working days

Strategy

We decide what the brand claims and where it competes, before anyone opens a design file.

What happens

  • Positioning: the place you occupy and the ground you concede on purpose.
  • Messaging: your claims, the order they are made in, and the proof attached to each.
  • Narrative and naming work where the engagement calls for it.
  • Brand architecture: what each offer is allowed to be called and how the portfolio holds together.

You receive

A strategy document plus a working session where it is presented, challenged, and revised.

We need from you

One decision maker at the review session, with authority to approve direction.

03

15 working days

Design

We build the visual system as an answer to the strategy, and we can show you which decision each choice came from.

What happens

  • Primary and secondary logo, with lockups, clear space, and minimum sizes.
  • Typography system for headings, body, and interface, licensing resolved.
  • Color system specified for screen, print, and signage, with contrast checked.
  • Application across the assets your team uses most often.

You receive

Identity presentation, one round of directed revision, then final artwork.

We need from you

Consolidated feedback from your side within three working days of the presentation.

04

5 working days

Handoff

We make sure the system survives contact with your team after we stop being in the room.

What happens

  • Brand guidelines covering rules, examples, and the reasoning behind each decision.
  • Business card, content templates, and slide deck template as editable files.
  • File inventory listing formats, licensing, and what each asset is for.
  • A working session with the people who will produce with the system.

You receive

Every source file, the guidelines document, the templates, and the handoff session.

We need from you

The people who will actually use the system present for the final session.

The guarantee

Read the audit first. Decide after.

Phase one is a written brand audit, delivered as a document you keep. You read it before any strategy or design work begins.

If you decide the direction is wrong, or that you do not want to continue for any reason at all, you say so and the engagement ends there. You pay nothing and the audit stays yours.

We can offer this because the audit is where a bad fit shows up. If we cannot write something useful about your brand in five working days, we have no business designing it.

Questions

Twelve answers, so the first call can be about your business.

If one of these rules us out for you, that is a good outcome. It is cheaper for both of us to find out here.

01 What exactly does the brand audit include?

The audit is a written document. It covers four things: what your brand currently communicates across every surface we can find, where those surfaces contradict each other, how your direct competitors position themselves in the same category, and the specific gaps that are costing you consideration.

It closes with a recommendation on what the package should prioritize for your business rather than in general. You keep the document whether or not you continue.

02 Who actually does the work?

The founder, directly, on every engagement. ACG Align does not subcontract strategy or identity work, and there is no account manager relaying your feedback to someone you have not met.

When an engagement needs a specialist we do not have in house, such as illustration or motion, we say so, propose someone, and bring them in with your approval at our cost.

03 What happens if I do not like the direction?

You say so in the session where it is presented. Every phase ends with a review, and nothing is final until you approve it. If the strategy is wrong, we revise it before any design work begins, which is precisely why the phases run in this order.

If after reading the audit you conclude we are not the right fit, the engagement ends there, you pay nothing, and the audit stays yours.

04 How is this different from hiring a freelancer?

A freelance designer usually starts at execution. You bring the brief, they produce the mark. That works well when your positioning is already settled and you trust it.

ACG Align starts at diagnosis. The audit and the strategy exist before anyone opens a design file, and the visual work is required to answer the strategy rather than the other way around. If you already have written positioning you believe in and you only need the visual system, hire a good freelancer. We will tell you that on the first call instead of selling you a package you do not need.

05 How is this different from a full service agency?

A full service agency sells strategy, identity, web, media, content, and production. That model suits companies with a budget large enough to keep all of it busy. For an SME it usually means your brand work is handled by whoever happens to be free that week.

ACG Align sells one thing. We do not build your website, run your advertising, or manage your social accounts, and we will refer you to people who do rather than pretend we are set up for it.

06 What do I need to prepare before we start?

Four things, and none of them take long. Whatever brand material already exists, even if it is inconsistent or embarrassing. The names of three to five competitors you actually lose deals to. Commercial context at whatever level of detail you are comfortable sharing, because positioning that ignores margin is decoration.

And one decision maker who can attend four working sessions across the seven weeks and approve direction in the room. That last one matters more than the rest.

07 What happens after delivery?

You receive every source file, the guidelines document, the templates, and a file inventory that says what each asset is for. The handoff includes a working session with the people on your team who will produce with the system.

After that you own it outright and you are not dependent on us to use it. If you want continuing support, a retainer becomes available once the package is complete.

08 Why is the price published?

Because a price behind a form is a filter that wastes both of us. If 3,500 MAD is outside what you can spend right now, you should be able to learn that in ten seconds rather than after a discovery call and two follow up emails.

There is a second reason. Publishing a price commits us to a defined scope, which is harder to do and better for you than quoting each engagement from scratch.

09 Why is the rate this low?

Because ACG Align is new and has no published case studies. The founding rate applies to our first ten engagements and it exists to buy proof rather than to signal value.

In exchange, founding clients agree to let us publish the finished work. When the tenth engagement is signed, the rate changes and this page changes with it.

10 Do you work in French and Arabic?

Yes. The work is delivered in the language your business actually operates in. Strategy documents, messaging, and naming can be produced in French, English, or Moroccan Arabic, and in more than one where your market requires it.

Naming work includes a read on how a candidate name looks, sounds, and carries across all three, because a name that only works in one of them is a liability in this market.

11 What if my timeline is shorter than seven weeks?

Tell us at the first conversation. Seven weeks is the standard schedule and most of it is review time rather than production time, so there is some room when a launch date is fixed.

We will not compress the audit, and we will tell you plainly if a deadline is going to make the work worse. A brand built against the clock tends to need rebuilding.

12 Do you offer a retainer?

After a completed package, yes. Never before one. The retainer covers template maintenance, quarterly brand check ins, and ad hoc design requests.

It is priced as a day rate equivalent rather than a flat monthly fee, so you pay for days used. A retainer before a brand exists is a subscription to improvisation.

Something not answered here? Write to us on WhatsApp and ask. We will add it to this page if others are likely to ask it too.

Become the standard

Seven weeks. Four reviews. One written diagnosis before any of it.

The audit is the first step and it carries no obligation. If the diagnosis is not worth having, you walk away with it anyway and pay nothing.
